Hubbard Youth Leader, Chase Powell, To Speak At NEO Spring Overnighter In Salem, OH.

Chase Powell, Youth Leader at Chestnut Ridge Church Of God is set to speak at the NEO Spring Overnighter for students in Northeast Ohio ranging from grades 7-12. His journey with the church has been a lifelong commitment, marked by his active involvement in the worship team, student ministries board; youth leader, leadership board, student ministries - social media, and other various ministries within the church and the surrounding communities. Powell is currently in pursuit of higher education at Youngstown State University focusing on Business Administration in Finance.

Beyond the Chestnut Ridge walls, Chase's leadership skills are on full display as a member of the NEO Student Ministries Board. His role in organizing events like the NEO Spring Overnighter showcases his ability to connect with and inspire young individuals. His dynamic approach to leadership is informed by his personal interests, which include a love for extracurriculars— a Hubbard High School alumnus, where he could be found enjoying baseball, basketball, football, band, and soccer. His passion to speak is evident in his enthusiastic participation as the ‘In-Arena Host’ for the Youngstown Phantoms; a Tier I junior ice hockey team that plays in the Eastern Conference of the United States Hockey League (USHL).


Chase's influence extends into the realm of the arts as well. His creative side is embraced by the community, and he's known for his ability to engage a wide-spread audience, whether it's through music, public speaking, or his involvement in local theater productions.


As a figurehead for the youth gathering in Salem, Ohio, Chase Powell represents more than just those of his community; he embodies Christ’s love for those young individuals who will be in attendance. His commitment to his faith and community is unwavering, and he continues to be a source of motivation for many, encouraging them to follow Christ’s teachings, pursue their passions, and make a positive impact in their own communities. The NEO Spring Overnighter will take place on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 10:00pm through 6:00am the following morning at the Salem Community Center.
