Hubbard Church To Give Away Free New Tennis Shoes To The Community

As the new school year approaches, we at Chestnut Ridge Church of God are excited to announce a special event to support local families. Our church, located at 7215 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Hubbard, OH, will be hosting a 'Back to School Tennis Shoe Giveaway' to ensure every child starts the school year on the right foot.

The giveaway will take place on Monday, August 12th from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, and on Tuesday, August 13th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This initiative is open to children in grades K-12 residing in Hubbard, Masury, Brookfield, Liberty, Girard, Campbell, Sharon, Hermitage, Farrell, and W Middlesex areas. To participate, both the student and their parent or guardian must be present. Additionally, proof of residency will be required to receive the shoes. We aim to ensure that every child in our community has access to a new pair of tennis shoes for the upcoming school year.

In years past, we successfully gave away hundreds of shoes to local kids, making a significant impact on the community. This year's event promises to be just as impactful, continuing our tradition of helping students start their school year with confidence and comfort.

At Chestnut Ridge Church of God, we strive to be a pillar of support in the community, and this event is just one of the many ways we hope to give back. We believe that every child deserves to start the school year with the essentials they need, and a new pair of tennis shoes can make a big difference in a child's confidence and readiness to learn. By providing these shoes, we hope to bless and alleviate some of the financial burdens that families may face during the back-to-school season.

Volunteers from our church and the community will be on hand to assist with the distribution and to ensure that the event runs smoothly.
